As one of Europe’s largest energy ports, Amsterdam is a leading player in the coal market.
Together with Tata Steel, the Amsterdam port area processes iron ore. Specialised terminals offer tailor-made solutions for the transport of iron ore.
The applicant is permitted to carry out mobile degassing on inland tankers.
The area as indicated in drawing N0822v01 (see Appendix), located in the Moezelhaven at Amsterdam, will be closed to shipping traffic with effect from 11 juli 2024. Shipping traffic bound for the shipyard in the Moezelhaven, however, will be exempted from this prohibition.
Due to maintenance, the Sea Lock at IJmuiden is closed on:
August 28, 2024 from 8:00 to 20:00
If the maintenance needs to be postponed due to weather conditions, it will be carried out on
4 September 2024 from 08:00 to 16:00.
Due to a diving inspection, the IJmuiden South Lock is closed on:
1 August 2024 from 07:00 to 12:00.
The said obstruction will last as short as possible or as long as necessary
On 13 and 14 August, 3 yellow marker buoys will be placed in the Oude Houthaven near the houseboat jetty (jetty B).
The work will be carried out by the tugboat Barka and the Amsterdam pontoon. The workboats involved in this project carry the prescribed lights and daymarks and are on standby on VHF 4.
Due to diving inspections, the Sea Lock at IJmuiden is closed to:
August 13, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This obstruction will last as short as possible or as long as necessary.
The diving inspection has interference class 0. In case of necessary use of the Sea Lock, it will be available within 0.5 hours and the lock is free for use.
