Decree designating persons authorized to give traffic information and traffic instructions to shipping traffic in connection with Diving Operations in the IJ in connection with cultural heritage

  • From 18 September 2023 until 22 September 2023, there will be diving operations in the IJ, south of the Slik, in connection with diving for cultural heritage;
  • Patrol boat ‘SB07’ of Safetyboat will be deployed at the site to ensure a safe and smooth handling of shipping traffic;
  • The purpose of this Decree is that the persons on board this patrol boat who regulate shipping traffic are granted powers to give traffic information or traffic instructions;
  • These persons are qualified VTS operators.
