The Deputy Director of the Public Body Central Nautical Management, who is also the State Harbour Master, announces the following:

Seagoing ships should as much as possible avoid overtaking ingoing or outgoing oversized ships between the Velserpont and the entrance to Afrikahaven.

Binnen-buitenschepen (sea-river ships) are placed in the category of seagoing ships.

All berths in the ports of Velsen (see Article 1.1 of the Regional Port Bye-laws for the North Sea Canal Area 2019) that are suitable and intended for the mooring of seagoing vessels to be designated as berths for bunkering by a bunker vessel of fuel oil, gas oil and diesel oil or blends thereof or for bringing the auxiliary lubricant on board by a ship.
