On 16 November 2021, a permanent salinity measuring installation (a salinity meter buoy) will be placed in the IJmuiden Noorderbuitenkanaal.
Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG. is granted a permit to bunker LNG fuel with the above-mentioned LNG bunker ship Kairos within the municipalities of Amsterdam, Velsen and Zaanstad.
VThis Decree may be cited as: "Decree designating the quay of the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam for the bunkering of LNG".
Due to the specific location of the Passenger Terminal, which lies near vulnerable objects, the standard methodology was supplemented by an impact study, in which the actual effects of an LNG leakage were investigated using a recognised simulation model, a so-called CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) study.
The director of the Central Nautical Management North Sea Canal Area, also the (State) Harbour Master, announces the following:
Port of Amsterdam requests that every ship that makes an international voyage and fishing vessels that make a multi-day voyage must submit the Maritime Declaration of Health (MDoH) prior to entry, regardless of the health situation on board.
The passage of certain types of vessels in harbor basins used by commercial shipping can lead to dangerous situations. For this reason, it is prohibited for these types of vessels to be in certain harbor basins.
The Director Central Nautical Management North Sea Canal Area decides that it is forbidden to enter port basins with certain types of vessels.
