New Stairs at KNSM & Java Island

Following several complaints about the boarding and disembarking of inland vessels at various locations on KNSM Island and Java Island, a solution was sought by the inland shipping working group.
This solution was found in the implementation of ladder systems that extend to the top of the quay structure. New stairs have been installed at 10 locations along Surinamekade, Sumatrakade, and Javakade. This allows the crew to safely board and disembark from the vessels.
