Holthausen Energy Points (HEP) is to build the first hydrogen station at the Port of Amsterdam. Truck drivers and motorists will be able to refuel at the station 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Push barges occupy an important position at Port of Amsterdam. Literally, since they take up about 100,000 m2 of water surface area. There are currently enough places for over 100 push barges. Nouryon, Tata Steel and Port of Amsterdam have joined together to study the feasibility of a large green hydrogen cluster in the Amsterdam region. The three parties consider green hydrogen as vital for reaching climate targets and building a more circular economy, for example by combining it with emissions from steel manufacture to make new products.
