On-site mobile vessel traffic services will be in place in connection with the installation of a steel frame girder for the IJboulevard project above the tunnel of the North-South metro line. Patrol boat “Houtvliet” will provide on-site mobile vessel traffic services on VHF 04.

All berths in the ports of Velsen (see Article 1.1 of the Regional Port Bye-laws for the North Sea Canal Area 2019) that are suitable and intended for the mooring of seagoing vessels to be designated as berths for bunkering by a bunker vessel of fuel oil, gas oil and diesel oil or blends thereof or for bringing the auxiliary lubricant on board by a ship.

It is prohibited for ships to berth at berths 4, 5 and 6 for river cruise ships at De Ruijterkade Oost.
