Due to scheduled maintenance, the IJmuiden South Lock will be closed for navigation on the following date(s) and time(s):

The area indicated in drawing N0773_v02 (see Appendix), located in the Mercuriushaven near the lay-by jetty for inland ships at the tail end is closed to shipping traffic due to the construction of a new lay-by jetty for coasters. 

The IJmuiden North Lock will be closed for the repair of the level measurement pipe on

February 22 2024 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm

If due to weather conditions the repair of the level measurement pipe needs to be postponed, it will be carried out on 23 February 2024 from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Due to a door change, the Small Lock at IJmuiden has been blocked on:

If due to weather conditions the door change needs to be postponed, it will be carried out on 15 April 2024 from 07:00 hours to 24 April 2024 19:00 hours LT.

Due to scheduled maintenance, the IJmuiden Sea Lock will be closed for navigation on the following date(s) and time(s):

If due to weather conditions the scheduled maintenance has to be postponed, the maintenance closure will be on 15 May 2024 from 08.00 to 20.00 hours LT.

Due to scheduled maintenance, the Small Lock at IJmuiden has been blocked on:

If due to weather conditions the door change needs to be postponed, it will be carried out on 16 May 2024 from 07:00 hours to 15:00 hours LT.

The area, indicated in drawing N0794_v01 (see Appendix), located in the Minervahaven near the entrance is closed to shipping traffic due to the construction of two new lay-by jetties for inland ships.

Due to works near the public berths (jetties) W2O, W3W, W3O, W4W, and W4O in the Houthaven, these berths are temporarily not accessible to shipping traffic.

During the above mentioned period, the area indicated in drawing N0802_v01 (see Appendix), located in the IJmuiden Buitenhaven will be closed for commercial shipping in connection with the large-scale mass evacuation exercise Livex 2024.
