Permit application for special transport in the management area of the North Sea Canal Central Nautical Management

In order to be eligible for a Special Transport permit, you must complete all the questions below. Applications will only be considered if they have been received by the Harbour Master’s Division at least three working days before the intended start date of the special transport.

‘Safety clearance’ refers to the distance between the plane of maximum draught and the parallel plane through the lowest point, where the vessel is no longer regarded as watertight (Article 1 of the Netherlands Inland Waterways Shipping Decree).
