Transhipment in the North Sea Canal Area of the seaports of Amsterdam, IJmuiden, Beverwijk and Zaanstad rose in the first half of 2019. This was the result of an increase in transhipment in the first six months of this year in the port of Amsterdam by 12.3% – another record.

More than 41,000 solar panels will generate sustainable energy in the Port of Amsterdam for logistics services provider CWT. Spread across five locations, the panels will together form the largest solar project in Amsterdam.

Titan LNG held a christening event for the FlexFueler001 in collaboration with the Port of Amsterdam. This event marks the official commencement of safe, efficient and cost-effective inland waterway LNG bunkering in the ARA region.

With the arrival of Royal Huisman, the port of Amsterdam has attracted yet another yacht manufacturer with a Royal Charter. The company will be operating from the former Holland Jachtbouw wharf in Zaandam, which will be owned by Port of Amsterdam from the 14th of May 2019.
