The new digital web app Arrivals is live. This application gives you access to information about all ship movements in the port of Amsterdam.

At the moment the world is at a standstill or is running at more than full speed. Also in the Amsterdam port in this time of corona crisis, as everywhere in the country, there are companies where the employees are out of work or companies where they just can't handle the work.

The dredge sludge depot at the former Averijhaven near IJmuiden will soon be developed into an Energy Port. A partnership covenant for the new facility was signed today.

Mid-March we decided, together with the Amsterdam-Amstelland Safety region, that river and sea cruise ships are no longer welcome in the port until further notice. The reason for keeping cruise ships out of the port is to minimize the risk of further contamination of the coronavirus. The cruise season traditionally starts with the opening of the Keukenhof and therefore April and May are the busiest months for us.

To limit the spread of the corona virus as much as possible, employees of Port of Amsterdam will be working from home from March 13 until at least March 31.
