Amendments to the Tanker Transshipment Berths Designation Decree and to the Decree designating fuels that require a Bunkering Permit / are subject to a Debunkering Prohibition

The Director of the Public Body Central Nautical Management North Sea Canal Area, announces the following:

The above-mentioned Decrees have been amended due to omissions in the content.

In the Tanker Transshipment Berths Designation Decree, the following has been added to articles 2 and 3, under Item IV: “The information [to Port Office] may be notified by VHF on the designated channel”. 

In the Decree designating fuels that require a Bunkering Permit / are subject to a Debunkering Prohibition, the regulation from the Regional Port Bye-laws for the North Sea Canal Area 2019 on which the debunkering prohibition is based has been included under “Having regard to”.  

These Decrees remain otherwise unchanged.
