World Wide Auctioneers (WWA) organises another heavy machinery auction in Amsterdam.

The auction will be held on the site of United Stevedores Amsterdam (USA) at the Amerikahaven, where the heaviest category of machinery such as road building vehicles, bulldozers and excavators will primarily be sold. Other equipment for auction includes trucks, tractors, mobile toilets, engines and a race cart.

The potential buyers are mainly from the Middle East, Africa and the Far East. The auction will provide a source of income and temporary employment in the port. In spite of the auction’s success, it is not yet sure whether WWA will stay in Amsterdam. The exchange listed company is also considering other European locations.
