Amsterdam has its eye on the Volvo Ocean Race

Amsterdam hopes to bring the Volvo Ocean Race to the city in two years’ time.
It would be great promotion for the city if the boats finish or stop over in Amsterdam. According to research by the Amsterdam Partners Foundation, the IJ harbour is the most suitable location.
