On 24 hectares of land at the edge of the Spaarnwoude recreation area, plots from 2500 square metres are available. Architect Cees Dam will supervise the development plan.

The buildings and layout of Greenport's common areas will receive a uniform look. Park management will be in charge of organising security, supply of energy, cleaning and maintenance of the area.

J.M. Schoonenberg of Diephuis Partners, supervising rent and sale, says it will probably take 12 years to fully develop the park. Greenport will be given a green look to match the surrounding natural area of Spaarnwoude. Greenport will be developed on an island approach, whereby new projects will be allocated over the available area in clusters.
