For whom?

Since May of 2003 the W-bus transports employees of participating companies from Sloterdijk station to the various companies in Westpoort. The W-bus is an initiative of companies in Westpoort, Port of Amsterdam and the North Holland Travel Management Foundation (Stichting Vervoermanagement Noord-Holland). The W-bus is not a public transport bus. Only employees of participating companies make use of this bus. This project was a response to the need of local companies for swift, reliable and customised personnel transport.

Point of departure Sloterdijk

The W-bus departs from Sloterdijk station and goes sequentially to the various companies in Westpoort. The W-bus can be found at the furthest bus stop to the left at Sloterdijk station (also the stop for buses 41 and 47).

Participation of other companies
At this moment employees of fifteen different companies are transported in this way. Other companies in Westpoort may also participate in this project.
