Harbour Dues for Professional Navigation at Port of Amsterdam
Electronic statement of inland harbour dues, your admission ticket to the port of Amsterdam
If you are going to be sailing in Amsterdam harbour waters you will need to submit an inland harbour dues statement. Your statement is your admission to the Port of Amsterdam. You can submit your statement digitally at http://bhg.portofamsterdam.nl. If you do not yet have an account, then create an account (you only need to do this once). Then you can easily submit your statement. You can always view previous statements in the online submission system. The online submission system is suitable for a computer, smartphone or tablet.
If you do not have your own internet connection you can use the Wi-Fi network in the Houthavens and in the ADM West Harbour. Via www.binnenvaartnet.nl you can take out a subscription to safely use internet in Amsterdam and a host of other Dutch harbours and inland harbours.
Submit your statement on time and avoid unnecessary costs
You can submit your statement before and during your stay. As part of its efforts to encourage port users to submit their statements in time, Port of Amsterdam introduced the following rules for the submission period on 1 April 2016:
- Statements for 7-day, 14-day or 28-day notes submitted prior to arrival will receive a 5% discount.
- Statements submitted between the time of arrival up to no later than 14 days following arrival will be subject to the regular tariff.
- You also have the option to submit a statement up to 28 days after arrival. Please note that a 5% surcharge will apply.
- For any vessels detected by Port of Amsterdam for which no statement has been submitted yet after 28 days, Port of Amsterdam will prepare a statement, including a 25% surcharge on the applicable rate, subject to a minimum of € 100.
